A short edit of a performance called “Requiem for A Building” (R4B) – it formed part of the exhibition and event “A Nod To Cage”, that took place in the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea, UK, 2011. This collaborative piece took the lines and form of the Pavilion to create a visual score, from which a totally unique piece of music was created, even using parts of the building itself to create the sound scape. VJs metaLuna, sonic artist Johanna Bramli and noise-mongers AKDK will be turning the Pavilion into a musical score and sound instrument for the evening. metaLuna will create a live musical score, using the angles and curves of the building as a canvas to project onto. Johanna Bramli and AK/DK will interpret the score, using record styli and contact mics to literally play the building.
